  • Pets: well-behaved dogs and cats are welcome on a leash no longer than 8 feet at all times.
  • Parking: free on-street parking, including metered spaces, within walking distance, and paid garages on South Osceola Avenue and North Eola Drive. The city has more on its garages and lots page.
  • Weather: the market posts weather delays on its home page.

The city’s calendar listing shows the market every Sunday through Dec. 27.

Audubon Park Community Market

Monday nights, 5 to 8 p.m., in front of Stardust Video & Coffee in the heart of the Audubon Park Garden District. The market describes itself as a community of farmers, gardeners, fishmongers, ranchers, makers and artisans, and posts each week’s vendor list on its blog.

SNAP shoppers can still use their benefits at the market, it said in its Oct. 5 update, but the Fresh Access Bucks matching program is on pause. Ask at the market HQ booth.

Luminary Market, Creative Village

The City of Orlando’s Downtown Development Board runs this newer market of 10 to 15 vendors of local favorites and curated goods at Luminary Green Park, 437 N. Terry Ave. The city’s calendar lists it from 5:30 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 21; Wednesday, Nov. 18; and Wednesday, Dec. 16, followed by the free KaleidoScope 360° outdoor movie at 7 p.m. Details

Nearby: Winter Park Saturday Farmers’ Market

In neighboring Winter Park, the city-run Saturday Farmers’ Market is held every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Central Park’s West Meadow, at New York Avenue and Morse Boulevard. A few times a year it moves to Seven Oaks Park for big events in the meadow, such as the Autumn Art Festival. The market’s phone is 407-599-3328, and the City of Winter Park says its Fresh Access Bucks program is temporarily paused.

Using SNAP at a market

Both the Audubon Park and Winter Park markets say their Fresh Access Bucks match is paused for now. You can still spend SNAP benefits where the market accepts them. Ask at the market’s information booth for tokens or how payment works that day.
