Father’s Day 2027 is Sunday, June 20. It is early for organizers to post 2027 plans, so this page starts with what Orlando offered dads last year and what is open on the day. In 2026, Leu Gardens let dads in free and Dezerland Park held a free Father’s Day car show on International Drive.

Events last year

Father’s Day Celebration at Harry P. Leu Gardens, 1920 N. Forest Ave. On Sunday, June 21, 2026, dads got complimentary admission from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and families were invited to bring a picnic, the gardens’ Father’s Day page says. We will add the 2027 date when the gardens post it.

Dad Bods and Hot Rods at Dezerland Park. The car show ran from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Father’s Day, June 21, 2026, with free admission for spectators and free entry for show-quality cars of any make, live entertainment and food and drink specials, the park’s event page says. Dezerland Park, on International Drive, is also home to the Orlando Auto Museum.

On the day

  • Swim. City pools are open in June, and the city’s seasonal pools run June through Labor Day. Daily swim is free for city residents and $4 plus tax for nonresidents, the city’s swim page says. The pool list is on our summer camps and pools page.
  • Fish or walk Turkey Lake. Bill Frederick Park, 3401 S. Hiawassee Road, sits on Turkey Lake, which the city calls one of the top five fishing lakes in Florida. The park has a fishing pier, nature trails, disc golf and playgrounds, and charges a daily entry fee per car, the city’s park page says.
  • Lake Eola. The Orlando Farmers Market runs Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the park’s southeast corner, and the city’s swan boats rent from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday to Sunday, per the park page.

Father’s Day brunch

We list Father’s Day brunches only when a restaurant posts one on its own website or menu. None had been posted for 2027 when we checked. Our brunch guide lists Orlando restaurants that serve brunch every Sunday, and our live music and nightlife guide lists venues for an evening out.

Getting around

Downtown street parking is free on Sundays, under the city’s on-street parking rules, and the free LYMMO circulator runs 8 a.m. to 8:25 p.m. on weekends.
