Mother’s Day 2027 is Sunday, May 9. It is early for restaurants and venues to post 2027 plans, so this page starts with what is already set and what happened last year. In 2026, Harry P. Leu Gardens let moms in free for Mother’s Day, and the Orlando Ballet’s Moulin Rouge has a matinee on Mother’s Day 2027.

Events

Harry P. Leu Gardens, 1920 N. Forest Ave. On Mother’s Day 2026, Sunday, May 10, moms got complimentary admission from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., the gardens’ Mother’s Day page says. Visitors were invited to pack a picnic and explore the 50 acres. The page has not been updated for 2027 yet; we will add the new date when it is. Regular admission and hours are on the gardens’ hours page.

Orlando Ballet, Moulin Rouge. The ballet performs Moulin Rouge in Steinmetz Hall at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, 445 S. Magnolia Ave., May 6-9, 2027, the ballet’s show page says:

Markets and gifts

• Orlando Farmers Market, every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the southeast corner of Lake Eola Park, at Eola Drive and Central Boulevard. It sells baked goods, crafts, gifts, jewelry, plants and food, the city says. Free on-street parking is within walking distance on Sundays.
• Luminary Market, 5:30 to 9 p.m. on the first and third Wednesday of each month at Luminary Green Park in Creative Village, with 10 to 15 local vendors, the city’s listing says. In May 2027 that is Wednesday, May 5, the Wednesday before Mother’s Day.
• TPD Night Market, Thursday and Friday evenings from 6 to 10 p.m. at TPD Circle in Thornton Park, with local makers and artists, the Thornton Park District calendar shows. It can skip nights for city events and road closures.

Mother’s Day brunch

We list Mother’s Day brunches only when a restaurant posts one on its own website or menu, with the seatings and booking details it gives. None had been posted for 2027 when we checked. Until then, our brunch guide lists Orlando restaurants that serve brunch every Sunday; book directly with the restaurant.

Getting around

Downtown street parking is free on Sundays, under the city’s on-street parking rules. The free LYMMO circulator runs 8 a.m. to 8:25 p.m. on weekends and stops at Lake Eola and the Dr. Phillips Center.
